Reservation calls for the park are all taken through one general number: 407.WDW.MAGIC or 407.939.6244. The Fort Wilderness Resort is located in the Magic Kingdom park. Services provided include: concierge desk, babysitting and childcare services, laundry facilities and service as well as self-parking. Tents and cots are also available for rental. Transportation is available from Fort Wilderness to theme and water parks, as well as downtown Disney, by bus. Fort Wilderness is a smoke-free environment.
Fort Wilderness offers both casual dining options as well as dinner theater. Try Crockett's Tavern or Trail's End Restaurant, an all-you-can-eat buffet. For dinner theater, the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Review is a musical comedy with an all-you-can-eat American style dinner included. Another entertainment/dining option is Mickey's Backyard Picnic, an outdoor country picnic complete with line-dancing and singing.

Rates for Fort Wilderness depend greatly on the time of year and the type of site reserved. Fort Wilderness has 3 types of campsites available: preferred hook-up sites with electric, water, sewer and cable; full hook-up sites with electric, water and sewer; partial hook-up sites with electric and water. Rates change for 5 different seasons: value, regular, peak, holiday and pre-holiday. For 2008, the price range for campsites is $42 to $99 per night.
