Las Vegas is a fun town and even better in your RV.
Las Vegas! What a town! So much to do so little time! With the price of hotels as high as they are you just might want to travel to “Vegas” in your RV. We have stayed at the Circus Circus campground several times. It is now a Kampground Of America (KOA) run campground and has the pleasure of being the only RV Park on the strip. It is though a paved parking lot with very little green and shade - so if you go in the summer it is a very hot location. The Circus Circus has 400 sites all with full hookups including cable TV and WI-FI. The last time we were there they were doing an upgrade to the electric. That project should be completed now. It is a great location on the end of the strip - they have a shuttle to the adjacent Circus Circus Casino and the city transport stops right out front of the Circus Circus Casino. Another good RV park is Sam’s Town With 2 RV parks - they now have nearly 500 sites. 50-amp service is at a premium rate. A cash deposit or credit card is required at check in and advanced reservations are required. Another park a bit more upscale is the Silverton Hotel Casino & RV Resort. We were going to stay there but we didn’t make reservations (something we don’t like to do) and the park was full. It is located about 5 miles from the strip has 125 sites with free cable. The Silverton Hotel and Casino was refurbished recently and draws vast differences in reviews. Here is a list of RV parks in the Vegas area:
Enjoy your stay!
